This is a translation of the forum rules found on the French forum, keeping only the parts pertinent to the English forum.

The Dofus forums are available to all -- those just starting-looking and registered players. Access to certain parts, however, is restricted to registered players and-or administrators.

Here are the rules you need to follow to post in these forums. Please read them carefully. You must accept them to post on the Dofus forum.

BEFORE posting a question, please make sure that it hasn't already been asked/answered in another thread (use the search function). Be sure to check the FAQ, too, to make sure your question isn't addressed there.
Please post to the correct section of the forum (e.g. comments/questions about classes go in Character Classes). Note that reports about scams, swindles, hacks, and botters go to Support, not on any of the boards.
Respect the other players, the moderators, and the administrators. Insulting, racist, xenophobic, and other derogatory comments are strictly forbidden -- users posting such content will be banned.

Forbidden actions:

Spamming the forum. If you were the last to post in a thread in the previous 5 hours, edit your previous post instead of adding a new one. Other forms of spam include: posting the same comment in multiple places; using signatures of more than one line (or an image or corresponding size); and posting with no additional content (e.g. single word posts, bumping "dead" threads, etc.).
Use of SMS- or text-speak. While use of acronyms is acceptable within reason, use of numbers or letters in place of phonemes (e.g. "ne1" or "oic") or unnecessary abbreviations (e.g. "plz") is not -- when in doubt, spell it out. This also applies to posts where every single word is misspelled and the whole thing lacks punctuation. This is not a chat room, there's no need to rush blindly through your post. Proofread before posting.
The promotion of illegal or pornographic content.
Attempts to harm the integrity of the forum. This includes, but is not limited to, flaming (direct or indirect insults of other users), trolling (posting in order to provoke an angry reaction from others), mod-baiting (posting topics that almost break the rules, in order to annoy moderators), and similar posts. This is a subset of "Respect the other players, moderators, and administrators", above.
No denunciation topic will be allowed. if you have such a problem, report it to the support team. Denunciation means things like reporting people who have been mean to you, naming scammers, flaming specific people, naming names of those who have ticked you off, tattling on those who annoy you, naming kama farmers, calling people cheaters, encouraging others to aggress, harass, or shun those who have wronged you, etc. All of these things are not allowed on any of the official forums.

Because there seems to be some confusion, let me try to make this clear: naming of names is not, itself, denunciation. Saying "My friend BobTheIop and I ran the Gobball Dungeon together, and SuzieTheEniripsa helped" is perfectly fine and allowed. Denunciation is naming of names for the specific purpose of accusing that person of something. Saying "I traded with JoeTheGuyIJustMadeUp and he scammed me!" is accusing him of something, and therefore is denunciation.
The promotion of anything contrary to the Dofus Terms of Service.
Responding to people who don't respect the rules. Rather than encouraging such behavior, contact a moderator or administrator.

Anyone who fails to respect these rules is subject to being banned.
