I play on Nagafen, i made 3 Brigands so far, testing races and stuff, i finally chose Kerra and stuck with it (made it last one) and deleted the other 2. Here's the problem ... on my first 2 Brigands i reached level 20, my ranged attacks with a 16.5 rated Thrown Weapon was 80 or something usually, i use the level 10 Shurikens from the Merchant. That last Brigand is acting strange, ranged damage is max 3 (yes, 3 points of damage), most of the time just 1.

As you know this makes it so annoying trying to get that last bit of health on runners, i used to kill people ranged, now i must sprint and stun them hoping it will last long enough.

Please someone help me solve this. Thanks.

I'm not sure why you would just be getting 3 points of max damage, even in PvP. I was getting around 80ish in T2 & T3 with throwing daggers as long as I remembered to upgrade them each tier. Make sure you're using the ammo appropriate for your level if you haven't already. If that's not the problem, then perhaps /bug & /petition so a GM can look at your character.

Personally, I've never used ranged on my brigand for anything but the stun and poison effects on runners. Makes it easy to catch up with them and/or ticks away at their redline if they are racing for the zone out.

You do have max weapon skill (or close to it) right?

Thanks for the replies guys ... Yes i do have max in Ranged, but that affects hit-rate i think, not damage.

I tried relogging a lot yesterday, didn't work, today though i logged in and it somehow worked, and on the same weapon and ammo. So i guess it was a glitch.

A. You're on Nagafen, so I assume you're trying this against other players? What classes were they and what kind of gear?

B. Get level appropriate ranged ammo.

A. I already said it was fixed.

B. Tried it against both, same result.

C. I was level 19 then, can only use level 10 ammo, can't use level 20, so yes, was level appropriate.

E. Even if someone has 55% mit, they can't reduce the ranged damage from 80 to 3, just not possible, needs close to 90% mit.

D. ... hate pointers
