Pray to Bristlebane, the RNG hates you.

Sorry, it's random.

Since the introduction of ROK, I've been consistently lucky with harvesting in T8. It hasn't been too tedious and I have managed to find enough silicate, tynnonium, and fire emeralds to get all adept 3 spells for a monk, warden, and conjuor.

I was convinced the RNG had turned on me when I had to spend two days looking for hidebound pelts for my tailor, but over the long run that evened out too.

It might not be the most perfect RNG in the world, but it is random enough for me.

I tend to get fire emeralds and tynnonium more than anything. The gem nodes like me and the ore nodes are stingy for me. But when I do get an ore node rare, it's usually 50/50 for me whether it's incarnadine or a loam.

All I seem to get are manatrap roots and mahongy. Lol others are darn near impossible to get and talking about days (real time) of harvesting.

Well, now we all hate you.

I've got a running joke with my partner that when we're going after rares - send me. I get easily twice the number he does it seems like. But a look at our rares harvested isn't that imbalanced, it's just that I get great streaks and he's more steady over time. But it was sad the day he spent harvesting for silicate loams all day so he could be ready to level and didn't get one and I waltzed up to my third node and pulled one. I thought he was going to throw something at me. I did point out that I was going to give it to him and that he'd gotten two of my fire emeralds for me, but he was definitely touchy about it.

With my boyfriend and I, it's usually flipped. But he'll say something utterly inane like, "you just need to harvest more" (when I've been harvesting 3x-4x as much as him). I've been close to throwing things, too.
