As a wizard I have 3 hotbars on my screen 90% of the time.

The remainder of my spells, potions, macros, basically anything I don't use frequiently during combat are set to the side on hotbars that fade to nothing when my mouse is not over them. All up I have 8 hotbars in full use, which I can always access without issue, they are simply not visable on my screen until I want to use them.

More hotkeys would be bad imo, and somethingso far from essential for this game that I personally don't think it worth dev time to look in to.

As a wizard I have 3 hotbars already full of spells I use all the time, and half of hotbar 1 is 2 spells macroed into 1 key! There are spells, potions, etc on hotbars 4-6 and some of them could benefit from keybinding another hotbar.

shift is already used to quick switch to another hotbar.

However there is no reason we couldn't ctrl-alt-1, etc.

I would be all for this.

Since all hotbar keys can be changed in the options, it doesn't really matter what combo they give us, or even if they make the default no shortcut and let us assign our own choice in the options (same as we can with the existing primary, secondary and third-whatever-y bar).

Having only three hotbars is limiting, especially in an age of G15 keyboards etc where you might want to assign the additional function keys to hotbar locations.
