I am sick and tired of getting explored maps wiped in this game. I have already explored Antonica and Commonlands -- yet both maps are now WIPED.

If you can't seem to stop this can you at least give us a command to restore our maps. I really don't want to ride all over Antonica again just to get my map back.

This is really unexcusable and it happens way too often.

While hardly a game breaker.

I will admit I do find this annoying too.

it only wipes becuase of the thrid party program your useing (aka eq2maps) not soes fault

Hmm what about when we don't use Eq2maps and it resets? This happened to me recently for Commonlands/Antonica maps on all my characters.

EQ2maps says its on the server side - which means it is SOE's fault.

Also noticed this happening recently too!

Would understand that after a 2-3 year break the map would been reset, but it was within a few days I had been over half of the Common lands and it shows up as unexplored.

hmmm i must be wrong then, i have never had any of my maps wiped though, well scratch that when they re did disco xp it was

Yeah, definitly nothing to do with 3rd party whatevers or EQ2maps because I don't have or use them, yet I had this start happening maybe...4-6 weeks ago or so.

I thought maybe something had gone amiss in some file of mine, but now I see I am not the only one.

It happens to me a lot with both Antonica and Commonlands.... I thought it was just me.

Well, that explains that.

I wondered why so many of my previously explored maps were suddenly unexplored.

I agree this is super annoying.
