Default A thought on Rivervale

Knowing what we do, it struck me, prehapes the reason that the void made Rivervale it's beach-head, may be because the cloudskipper was built in the enchanted lands. So it may be that the void creatures just wanted to make sure it did not happen again. I figure it may be as simple as that, any thoughts?

I've heard the invasion has more to do with the nature of the lands than anything else. Ever wonder why they are called the Enchanted Lands? It's possible the Nightbloods and lamias are trying to feed off the magical properties of the lands.

What I want to know...

Can we dispel this beach head? Renew rivervale to it's former glory and punish those responsible? (If your worried that people won't have access to current content in Rivervale then make a Rivervale2, like you did for Runnyeye and Nek Castle, but as a dougeon /// city??)

Do you really think players are going to like the idea of having a popup menu show up every time just to decide if they want to enter a dungeon or a city?

Like it? They will demand it for Qeynos and Freeport!

Imaging being able to Raid the City of Qeynos (as a group of freeporters)...

Yes it sounds absured but people would go for it.

They put up with it for Protector's Realm/Crypt of Agony without compaint and there is regularly gets people killed! I don't think anyone would blink twice if you had to choose between Rivervale: Corrupted and Rivervale: Reclaimed.

It would be even better if you had to do a special instance of Rivervale to earn access to the city version, and you could buy your very own hobbit hole.

Whats a hobbit?

As for a cleansed Rivervale I would not have a problem with a pop-up or seperate entance... maybe a horse ride from the docks to the restored rivervale, basically a cinimatic like the Carpet back from SS where when you are almost there you zone to the cleansed version. The only issue I have with that is that Josgar and the other Highelfs will be clamoring for Felwith's return, same with the Dwarfs and Gnomes and thier cities.

No thank you. I don't want to have to choose between two different instances everytime I use Call of Qeynos back into South Qeynos.

Actually you wouldn't get a choice. All of the "teleport immediately" spells send you to the default zone. Version one if you will. Only the druid portal spells make you choose becase you don't teleport on casting, you teleport after fiddling with the widget.

And if your on AB, there has been a South Qeynos 1 and 2 for about 3 months now. I'm not sure why that zone is perma-split but I can always get the second zone option on any bell in Qeynos.

Not saying that raiding either city would be a good idea, though launching a raid from the sewers into either castle would be exciting!
