Good thing I called today to check the status of my character recovery. well they said that the attempt failed (again), and they are not sure why I didnt receive a mail stating that it was a failed attempt. yes the recovery process is taking longer these days, but the fact remains that for an unknown amount of time, my recovery request was already tested and drawn to the conclusion of unable to find the missing data, and they didn't notify me about it through the mail.

well I requested recovery for my most recent character (deleted in June so they could recover the character that was deleted last year.) but I have a feeling they'll be successful in recovering the data from back in June, I haven't created any new characters since there and my Content ID has no characters on it, so they really gotta recover it this time.

I really feel sorry I was overconfident they would recover my first character after the first recovery attempt failed.... (but I presumed it was because my new character was taking up the content ID slot. and this 2nd attempt was without a character taking up the slot.

But now, I probably could have be over level 60 by now if I remained with the 2nd character I made....... sigh....... if they are unable to recover my recent character deleted last month, I'm gonna have to quit.

Well, that's what you get for deleting your character in the first place.

Man that sucks, but recovering a deleted character is always a gamble, specially after so much time has passed.

You act like there isn't some arduous deletion process that warns you multiple times that characters are gone forever. SE may be able to recover it, but why delete the character to begin with if you intend to play it again?

Not that SE's support staff is exactly known for quality service, but they're also probably (and rightfully) busy trying to recover and roll back all the characters that have been hacked recently. I know people who've woken up on other servers with all their rare/ex gear tossed that are still waiting and praying for a rollback to come through.

What azriek said. While I feel for you, they do warn you that a deleted character is gone, and that you only need to cancel your Content ID to not get charged. There's no reason to delete your character other than to deliberately deter yourself from getting back into the game.

ya but it's just a huge family mix up that caused this, but now I changed my password and stuff, so now they can't delete it. I guess my first password was too simple to figure out but anyways they don't live with me anymore.
