i have been wondering this ever since i heard about mastery books.
what is the drop rate for skillbooks?
are they more like finding an equip or more like finding a scroll?
(this excludes bosses) thx

i think it depends on the skillbook.

i would assume that. lets say (for example) snails drop gen 20 and adv combo 20. gen is apprx 15m and combo is 200k max. would u find the same amount of each or like 2 combos and 1 gen?

Some skill books are more rarer than others. For example, skeles drop blast 20, angel ray 20, boomerang step 20, adv combo 30, and couple more which i forgot... Seems that AR20 is more common compared to bs20 and ac30.

it's the same idea why u get more equip drop instead of ilbi from vikings/spiders. some skillbooks are just not that common compaing to other ones

You're wrong. More than half are only found through drops.
Quests only get the first 10 levels of a skill. You need to raise it with skillbooks that only come from drops.

Wut he means is that the books that ppl r talkin about here r Mastery Books not Skill Books. Mastery r for L10+ and L20+ point allocation. And for that he's right, most Skillbooks r from quests, tho i think TT and AR r str8 up drops from Zak? not sure...

varies from book to book. such as holy shield and achilles are alot more common than boomerang step or sharp eyes at skeles.
