I have this allergy against lazy pug players. I always pug - I'm not in a guild with other players, so it's either pug groups or no dungeon runs at all.
Except, I can't stand lazy puggers. You know the one I'm talking about, those that sit in the auction house for the full 26 minutes plus it took to find a tank (usually not saying anything, even when spoken to directly by name), and then continue to sit in the auction house when I'm already flapping towards the dungeon. So I get there, usually first, by a large margin, and I wait for a bit, just to see if anyone else makes a move to come as well. "I'm at the stone guys!", I say. "Get a effin' move on so we can get started!" "summon", says the guy who's bravely stayed behind in the auction house. "no", I respond, because I'm instantly getting violently and irrationally furious over this guy demanding a summon without even having the common courtesy to say "please", nor even caring I simply CAN'T summon him by myself! "why" asks the AH person. "I'll heal you through this run even though you refuse to either tank or heal despite that you're a paladin, but I'm NOT summoning your lazy ass to the instance just so you can sit on your ass for five minutes more and browse the friggin auction house! If I could get here, so can you." "ok bb then" [Player Wankface has left the group] ...Which leads to the disintegration of the rest of the party, in an accelerating chain reaction. So this is humanity. They can wait to get a full dungeon group without complaining - as long as they don't have to actually do any work, like finding a TANK - but asking them to hop on a griffin for a couple minutes is apparantly simply too much. Some days I wish a neutron star fragment would fall on our heads and vaporize us all, we're really too stupid and selfish a race to be allowed to live. |
